Key Hoffman Supporter: "We Lost"
The results aren't looking too good for accountant Doug Hoffman (C), but with a third of the vote remaining to be counted, a comeback isn't out of the question. Still, Watertown Mayor Jeff Graham isn't holding out much hope for his candidate, according to the Washington Independent:
"We lost," said Graham. "The Scozzafava endorsement, the [Watertown Daily Times] endorsement of Owens-I mean, they roughed Hoffman up."Could Hoffman still pull out a win? Graham grimaced. "It's over."
If Owens wins, the Scozzafava betrayal to Republicans may be remembered in infamy along with Benedict Arnold, etc.

Dede's endorsement says plenty about NY23's party leaders. When their candidate ends up endorsing the Dem, you know the idiots made a mistake. In short, they nominated a Dem. If we are going to have someone vote Dem for NY23, may as well be a Dem.
This should be a huge wake up call to those who doubt Palin and her ability to pick the donkeys in the Republican party...SCOZZAFAVA is just one of those donkeys and needs to leave the party. At least NY was saved the embarrassment of Scozzafava voting with OBAMA as a republican....Ms SNOWE will now stand alone!
New York deserves to get what it gets by its crazy selfserving population that is out onlyfor themselves... a new party will come from the Ashes and the Converatives have fired a shot over the Bow of Anerica!
