The SRLC Sample Ballot
NEW ORLEANS -- Ex-Speaker Newt Gingrich is on the ballot. So is ex-AK Gov. Sarah Palin (R). But voters who back 3 potential candidates won't see their favorites' names on the ballot.
When voters head to the polling station at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, they won't have the opportunity to vote for MS Gov. Haley Barbour (R), TX Gov. Rick Perry (R) or even LA Gov. Bobby Jindal (R), the conference's host governor. What's more, voters won't be able to write in their own choices.
Already, evidence is mounting that backers of ex-MA Gov. Mitt Romney (R) and Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) are helping get supporters to the polls, as Politico's Ben Smith writes. It's the second time Romney backers have done their best to pack SRLC -- in '06, he finished a distant second behind then-Sen. Bill Frist (R) at a conference held in Memphis, in Frist's home state.

according to politico Mitts folks are getting free tickets and free autographed copies of his book -- stacking best sellers lists as well.
Ron Paul's folks only got discounted tickets, or free to students, I believe. NPR says voters are being corralled by all the major candidate supporters, however, and SarahPac Caribou Jerky is a party favor.
It was always ever about who could get the most supporters there, that is what these polls measure. Ron Paul only signed on 3 weeks ago, so his people actually had by far the least time to prepare.
WE are going up against Jeff Flake (L) who use to be a conservative republican. He is now listed as a Liberal. Please keep JEFF SMITH and our campaign to get "MR. Smith Goes to Washington" on your mind. A STRONG Conservative, pro-lifer, with a strong economics background. Mr. Smith is looking to replace Jeff Flake this November in Arizona's Congressional District 6.
Mr. Smith has the endorsements of JD Hayworth(R) Russell Pearce(R), Rob Haney(R), Shaun McCaffey (R), Sheriff Joe Arpiao and many others.

Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee, Gary Johnson, and Rick Santorum won't get the nominee in 2012. It is the liberal medias and the Democratic Party that picked for the 2012 Republican candidates and they know these candidates can't beat Obama. These candidates are not true conservative. Let the Republican Party voters pick their choice for their candidate. We need a true consevative leader.
